WILNA THEY ASKED QUESTIONS, WHY SHE MISTREATED ME LIKE THAT. MY MOM RESPONDED AND SAID I WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE.” I WAS BORN IN OCTOBER 12, 1993 IN PETION-VILLE. I grew up in an area they call Beaumont in a part of the Grand ‘Anse in Haiti. I have two little sisters. They live in Beaumont with my mom. Since I left Beaumont I lost contact with them. Before I went to King’s Garden I was living with my mom and my little sisters. After my dad passed away my mom started to mistreat me. One day she beat me up and I was wounded. She told me she doesn’t need me for her child but God was there with me. He didn’t abandon me. Psalm 27:10. There was a group of missionaries that saw me the same day my mom beat me with my wounds and they asked me why I was crying and who hurt me like that. I told them it was my mom who did that to me. That was on a Saturday. On Sunday they called my mom to talk to her. They asked questions, why she mistreated me like that. My mom responded and said I was supposed to die. They asked her if she needed me. She said no. The missionaries took me and sent me to school and I spent a year with them. In October 2006 they took me to Port-au-Prince and they brought me to King’s Garden. That’s how God gave me a new family again. Besides God I did not have anybody. God gave me brothers and sisters a mom and dad. He protected me. I was thirteen. I loved Jesus. I accepted Jesus in my life December 2007 and the month of April the date of 13 I got baptized to be a member of Jesus Christ Church. I left King’s in September 2012. I am doing well by the grace of God. I live at Delmas 75. I am living with Dr. Morquette and Dr. Junie because when I was eighteen they lost the contact of the people who were supposed to come get me. That’s how I spent one more year in King’s Garden. I prayed a lot to God to find me a place to stay and God listened to my prayer. He told Dr. Junie and Dr. Morquette to take me to their house. Now I amineighth gradeandIamgoingtotakeanofficialtest.Ibelieve I will pass in the name of my savior. When I graduate from high school I would like to become an agriculturist and I like to knit and make bracelets, reading, singing, and playing soccer. I would like to thank you all. May God bless you in his abundance. www.heartenhaiti.org “
